Tuesday Morning August 26
We have said goodbye to the wonderful nurses and staff in ICU and moved to the 5th floor, Haleakala East, room 21. The head nurse has allowed Chris to spend the nights so we are thankful for that but now with less help and Daniel being more active (praise God) her work is cut out for her especially when he wants to try to get out of bed or even hang his feet over the sides. I would say our prayer is still for God to bring Daniel to recovery in His time, that he would not grow too frustrated with that process and for us to formulate with the Doctors a plan and a pace that is appropriate for the big guy. Though Daniel is back from his long "sleep" he is still understandably groggy so we remain grateful for every prayer that lifts him up!

We are so thankful for God's work in the body of this dear young man. We love your family so very much, and just want you to know we have people praying from Ohio to Alaska. One prayer chain here in Tacoma is 2000 strong - God's saints at work. God bless you all.

All right Daniel!!!
Just take it one day at a time big guy! Focus on what you have to accomplish for recovery each day and do it with everything you have. Then at the end of each day be satisfied if that is all you complete.
Colin and I didn't meet for Bible study last week and I thought it would be cool for us to meet up there at our usual time and hang out. I miss your deep questions about God and how much you made Colin and I laugh. Don’t worry I won't make you read another book (yet), just a time to come together again and hang out as friends.
Well good buddy I am praying for you and looking forward to getting back into our weekly bible study.

Hey you all... We have been praying constantly for Daniel and the family. We have set up warriors here to pray as well and are thrilled to see how God is answering the prayers. We love you all and will be there in october and can't wait to hang out with all of you. Jordan has been asking daily for the new updates and is thrilled to hear of the progress :):)!!
Just know that you are on our hearts all the time.
